Obenewa returns with a new single titled "He", marking a new chapter in her short career.

It’s a welcome return from the Londoner, who since dropping her debut EP in 2011 has remained pretty silent to the point where her SoundCloud has no trace of her earlier work.

If Obenewa has seemingly decided to start afresh, then consider “He” a lovely reintroduction into what this artist has to offer. This latest single is a bold, wonky R&B slow-jam filled with hazy soundscapes and a killer melody.

This certainly feels like a new phase in her evolution – lets hope to hear/see more of her in the coming year.
