Regardless if you just woke up with a huge hungover or you had a quiet Friday night, it is about time to put on those indie dance shoes again! Today under the spotlight we have the Canadian youngsters from Oh No! Yoko (Ono). Based on my initial observations, the only possible way i could describe their music is as if the early Arctic Monkeys had ADHD. I really love it!
Besides the ADHD part, the guitar riff remind me slightly of This Town Needs Guns, although those guys are really straight to the point in terms of drumming and overall composition of the track. The lyrics are beyond hilarious and enhance the general positive vibe of the track. What I learnt about Mimi Ashi is that "she's a Louis Vuitton, she's a Louis Vuitton"!
