Tom and Ed Russell, siblings hailing from Wales, have established themselves in the electronic music scene before joining forces as the duo Overmono. Tom, known for his aggressive techno sound as Truss, and Ed, recognized for rather bass-heavy rave endeavors under the moniker Tessela, have both had successful careers before collaborating.
The UK duo has gained support from outlets like Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, and Mixmag and for a good reason. Their music is a beam of energy! Overmono's new single "Is U" lives at the cross-section of indie pop, breakbeats, and edgy 90s rave music. Absolutely intoxicating.
