One of our favorite masked soul heroes, Pale Jay, recently re-imagined his "Shameful Game", taken from his 2021 debut self-produced EP The Celestial Suite. The new version features one of rap's titans and Griselda Records founder, Conway the Machine. A match made in heaven.
Combining Pale Jay's distinctive falsetto with Conway the Machine's impeccable laid-back, but certainly lethal flow and delivery, the track was my go-to vibe for a while. Every time I hit that play button, I’m flooded with warmth, but at the same time, instantly wrapped in a layer of effortless cool.
