The Barcelona-based electronic duo PALLADIAN are preparing a fascinating project inspired by time and nature.
Jacaranda / Prayana / Astras is a three-track journey through the changing of seasons, using autumn as a metaphor for time, memory and the feeling of standing between one chapter and the next. The three tracks explore three different relationships with time: the present, the past and the future. Together, they form a cycle - observing where we are, remembering where we have been, and wondering about where we might be going.
Today, PALLADIAN share the first glimpse into the project. "Jacaranda" represents the present. Like the jacaranda tree itself, constantly transforming through its cycles of foliage, flowering, and renewal, the track reflects on the beauty of change while it is happening. The dreamy atmosphere of this track is established by haunting vocals and delicate guitar arpeggios creating the main narrative line, then followed by a captivating drum pattern and warm organic textures, building a sense of being immersed in a fleeting moment, aware that what exists today will inevitably change.
After this haunting, bursting, captivating first track, we can't wait to hear the full thing!
