What I am listening to now should be classified as Nocturnal Pop with trip hop and electronic supporting components. It could also be labeled as experimental, the outcome of which is most definitely successful.

"Bound" may be the soundtrack to a scene in the book "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. I could not finish the book as the sheer horror and tension dragged through the chapters for so long that I had to take breaks and eventually quit. I do however remember a female character who was systematically drained of her blood by this pesky vampire. She was standing by the window. Clear sky, full moon and pale, the vampire was sated with her blood, anther drop of blood and she could have been devoid of her dear life.

That is "Bound" for me. A beautiful nocturnal track, a bit dramatic for even evil deserves a soundtrack.

p.s. "Bound" and "Breathe On" are my two favorite tracks of her album Lowlands. You can listen to the rest of her album here.
