Parra for Cuva has finally unveiled his long-awaited 5th album Mimose - and one of the stand-out tracks we're presented with on the project is certainly "Stellar".
Since the last time we spoke with Parra for Cuva, his sonic aesthetic has gone through quite the evolution as he has been experimenting with different genres and sampling styles. The track "Stellar" actually showcases the signature style of Parra, albeit with a soulful twist that reminds us of gospel thanks to the uplifting presence of the choir in the second half. These towering strings floating over the mix and the plucks help "Stellar" give it an air of elegance, which beautifully complements the chill electronica vibe he's captured here.
