This is beauty.

After Ivo shed the light on "II. Kentia" last year, NY-based producer Past Palms is back with another magnificent sonic journey through the vasts of nature - "Rainwater", ambient downtempo electronica that will make the transition between winter & spring better. He explains the meaning behind the track:

The opening sample in “Rainwater” feels like the sonic translation of rain, with its icy splashes, gloomy overtones, and water-like texture. It feels full of life, but also sorrow. I wanted to add light to that overcast sound with upbeat dance rhythms and bright chords. The song traverses through light and dark, calm and chaotic, with the crescendo of harp samples representing the mass blooming of flowers, and their eventual death as the music descends into distortion and tranquil nature sounds.

This is the first single off his upcoming EP Vernal.
