Brass lovers, rejoice!

It's a real funky party today at the Fox. First of all, we're teaming with Philip Lassiter who was the horn section leader in Prince's final New Power Generation band (yeah, son - Prince!). Furthermore, his latest track "Sunday School" is embodiment of good music. So much groove. It's beautiful!

We had a chat with Phil about the story behind "Sunday School" and here's what he had to share:

I grew up the son of a preacher man. Gospel music will always be an inspiration to me and this song is a salute to my childhood. The music is a combination of styles, hiphop, gospel and jazz. Anyone who's parents made them go to church can relate to this song and/or anyone who loves funky music!

The track is taken from his latest album Chill Mode recorded with his 13 piece funk band Philthy. Now time to move and bust some moves.
