Mixing a wide array of electronic genres, Australian band PINES are definitely something to be excited about.
"Calling You" was my first interaction with the Adelaide-based duo and truth be told it was hell of a first impression. The initial and very pleasant ODESZA-like vibe eventually transformed into some sort of lushful downtempo mix wrapped with gorgeous soulful vocals (since they are a production duo, not sure who's the guilty party for that).
While this is the first time we feature those guys, most of their tracks so far have a pretty big impact in the Internets. It looks like we have a new hope on the electronica horizons.
