German electronic duo pølaroit (whom I had the pleasure of meeting in person in Amsterdam) return with a new EP titled Light Up. Three songs, all with different collaborators but united by lightness, melancholy, and driving electronic production. A "collective exhale," as they call it.
"The Light Up EP is about finding clarity in chaos. Each track is a chapter in that journey, using pulsating energy to guide the listener through quiet moments and bursts of intense emotion," pølaroit added.
The second track "Walking in the Deep", with German electronic vocalist sue:ann, explores the subconscious through spacious synths, warm & nostalgic vocals, cinematic sound design, and deep house/electronica production. A truly immersive piece.
