Porij is a Manchester-based band formed in 2019 that dwells in the sonic universe where electro pop, indie, UK garage and classic house collide collide, all of that sprinkled with some lush dance elements. They also got a prominent feature on Metronomy's Small World (2022) album and if I'm not mistaken, that was the first time I actually heard their name.

We didn't cover the talented 4-piece before, but today we're fixing that horrible mistake thanks to an aerial futuristic remix crafted by our favourite Kloyd. Kate re-imagines band's summer feel-good anthem "I'm Your Love (Only)" and injects a scent of dark rave energy into. "I love this band & the original. The vocals felt so sweet and vulnerable I wanted to make a remix that felt soft and romantic then escalate into an almost 70s influence as a nod to the dance floor. I pictured two lovers dancing, completely enamoured.", she elaborates.

I adore the bubbly, radiant energy of the original - it fizzes with joy in the best way. That's why Kloyd’s transformation is all the more impressive - the way she reshaped it into something entirely her own is nothing short of remarkable.
