Dropping into my inbox with style this morning is this lovely live demo of a track called "Forgive" by LA indie-pop duo Pr0files.
With only three tracks currently residing on their Soundcloud page (two original tracks and a cover), releasing a live demo is a bold move for any new band, however when it's as beautiful, emotional and personal as this, the risk of effectively 'baring it all' is well worth taking.
Reminding me of Florence Welch in places, lead vocalist Lauren Pardini's sensual yet commanding voice appears at its natural peak in "Forgive". Soaring throughout, her gorgeous vocals combine with the song's harrowing lyrics in a strangely comforting, yet haunting manner that will leave you suitably stunned at its emotional close.
