2 years ago (uhh, time's flying by) I founded the uplifting electronic sounds of a Bristol-based producer called edapollo. To this day his track "Breathing Lessons" is a safe space when things are looking a bit gloomy.
Flash forward to nowadays, the other day I got a really nice e-mail from Ed - the person behind edapollo. He and another experimental electronic producer LTO teamed up and created Hirola and I'm honoured to have the pleasure to premiere their first release - "Lonesome".
After inhaling the these sounds for about a week now, I often found myself completely mind-locked in the world of "Lonesome" and that's a very peculiar place. The two producers created an aerial space which completely fits the the title of the track and while the word lonesome might carry a mellow connotation, it feels good to be present in that world.
The track tells a haunting, yet beautiful story through sounds.
Ridiculously captivating.
