It's been ages since I've stumbled upon such an awesomely designed sound trip as Project X's "Absence of Light".

While carrying somewhat dark vibe, the track flawlessly progresses in between genres starting from UK garage, downtempo and finishing off somewhere in those 90s soulful tracks we all remember (I would say that credit for that goes to the vocals).

Ben Johnson, the person behind Project X is a British producer and from our few e-mails so far, I could say is one of the chillest guys together. Today's release is part of our new track release series which we debuted a few weeks ago and Ben was kind enough to share a free download of this beauty, so don't hesitate and grab one in the link above.
