Relyae's September joint "Focus" (out via PLYGRND) carries the colours of summer and since I'm skipping Fall and Winter this year, I couldn't be happier to carry on with my endless warm energy thanks to this gorgeous tune.
Shearaton doesn't stop to amaze me. This guy does it all. His guitar and bass skills aside, I absolutely adore his vocal showmanship on "Focus". The tune gives me a distant Steve Lacy / Toro y Moi vibe, by the way. Not sure how you feel about it?
The track will be part of his debut EP Flow State dropping tomorrow (Oct 20th) alongside the second single of the series "Moonlight" released a few weeks ago.
Since we're at the information stage, the team behind "Focus" is quite well known with Mr. Tom Doolie responsible for the artwork and Birocratic for the mastering. A match made in heaven.
