Re:um is definitely one of my fav finds of last year. The UK producer and multi-instrumentalist has such a unique style, often blending a variety of genres like soul, blues, downtempo electronica, indie-folk, and even funk. And he's always full of surprises.
Speaking of which, he kicks off the year with an absolute slap in the face (the good kind). "Glass Kingdom" is one of the most uplifting and powerful electronic tunes I've heard in a while. With UK-pop-meets-gospel vocals that get stuck in your mind and beatwork & synths that are worthy of every dancefloor, I'm sure this will get spun a lot for months to come.
