While Roary's "See" is not something I would typically share nowadays, it's the kind of music I was quite obsessed with a few years ago. Names like Hammock and Lights & Motion are artists I hold dear to my heart. Listening to this sent me back some 4 or 5 years ago to times where everything felt so different and it made me really nostalgic. I've always been firm believer that one should live in the present, but every once in a while it's somehow nice to just travel and try to remember how you felt and experienced things. Not sure this made me think of my time in Barcelona, roaming the streets in the evenings, feeling completely overwhelmed by everything new and amazing. And this is where the beauty of music lies, you know? When it kicks those synapses ups and brings back that old memory, scent, taste.

As I write those lines I also realized this would be one of the longest posts I've written in a while and the mellow, teary feeling quickly got replaced with a smile. To who do we owe those beautiful, magnificent sounds? Roary is US-based producer, composer, and programmer. "See" is the first track I've heard from him, but actually his work has been widely used across many big brand's inspirational videos. He reminds me of Helios in the way he approaches sound textures and progression. It's sort of cinematic and very emotional post-rock with a story.

Absolutely staggering.
