Dutch producer Robby East makes it look incredibly easy to craft emotionally captivating melodies, and his new release "Toucan" is a great example of this sentiment.

The experience we're welcomed to here is not only catchy, but Robby also blurs the lines between joy and melancholy through his melodic progression. "Toucan" is centered around this luminous arp and a rudimentary rhythm section - what I find quite fascinating is how this arp and these straightforward drums continuously hold our attention without much variation.

This exhibits the power of minimalism paired with an emotive flair.
