Roo Panes is probably one of the best musical things that happened to me lately. I am not even sure how I stumbled upon his music, but blessed was the moment.
I don't really know much about him except for the fact that he is from the UK and is playing gorgeous folk music, which reminds me both of John Butler and Alexi Murdoch (took me and Ivo quite some time to figure out who he reminded us of).
Guitar, cello, viola, silky voice and I don't think life gets any better. It's the kind of music you keep coming back and replaying over and over again. Land of the Living EP was out in December and he is working on his debut album now. "Silver Moon" is a track off this EP and I suggest you check both live and EP version. They are equally amazing.
