On Cradle, Marijn exhibits that he's calm, cool and in control of his voice by virtue of the maturity that's subtly expressed by vocal delivery.

I'm sure Rui was aware of this when he produced the instrumental and I have a feeling that's the reason the instrumental is minimalist and bare. As a whole, one can definitely hear the styles of Christian Loffler and George Fitzgerald beautifully packaged and presented to us. The electronic textures on Cradle come alive midway when we're introduced to the climax, although the beauty of the acoustic elements shouldn't dare to be overlooked as that's where we really get a taste of fines in Cradles.
