The George FitzGerald rendition of "In the Sound of Breathing" by SAGES has left me utterly speechless with it's immersive soundscape and compelling experimentalism.

SAGES is a duo made up of acclaimed artists Ólafur Arnalds and Loreen - a combination that I'm sure surprised many as they occupy different worlds. And having George FitzGerald get involved in the mix makes things so much more interesting. His version not only appeal to the clubs, but also has the potential to drift in a lounge setting as it walks a fine line between upbeat and relaxing. The pianos strike faster while the vocals here are a haze that complement the overall, euphoric soundscape. Strings enter the arrangement by the second half and lift the track into an even more cinematic, emotionally charged space.
