That small gathering is actually a rave and the vibe is immaculate. If there's one track I would like to hear in such setting that's the deeply emotional and intimate Sofia Kourtesis remix of SAGES's "Opening".
SAGES is a joint project between Ólafur Arnalds and Loreen, whose debut self-titled EP was released earlier this year. You can dive into the original "Opening" below. I’ve always loved hearing how a remixer reimagines a track, capturing its essence while transforming the energy into something entirely their own.
Today, however, the spotlight shines on the almighty Sofia Kourtesis who has created one of the most emotionally charged electronic tracks I've heard in a while. I've been obsessed with it since Friday and it was my run soundtrack this morning. This song made me feel energized, made me cry, made me feel human and it is a damn good reason to love live with its ups and downs.
