Sâlo is a Georgian singer, songwriter, producer, DJ, and pianist who borrows from a variety of influences and blends these with her heritage. What I loved about "Pray" is the passion and soul that exudes from her vocals - they're nostalgic, elegant, and her songwriting keeps us gripped to each word she utters. The cries of the sax in the background heighten the track's intimate allure, while Isaiah Hull offers a contrast. His verse comes with swagger and grace, yet in a manner that complements the overall narrative we're welcome to.
