We already talked about Samuel, Irish-born producer and vocalist and his magic touch on r&b scene.
Recently, his talent fell under the wings of two big names in the world of good electronica: Kwes (Warp) and with additional production by Ozkharp (Hyperdub) and Lockah (Donky Pitch).
Together, they gave birth of his new EP: Luv cry, out on 10th of June on Big Dada
While I'm anxiously waiting for the full release, this first track is beyond my expectations. A lushy RnB tinged electronica that has it all: a thrilling bass, tremendous vocals and a slow and smooth groove.
When asked for his intentions over the upcoming EP, Samuel was laconic: “confessions/offerings to a loved one…stuff I can’t give/say/do day to day”
