"Glue", Scasca's latest release with Talipes Valgus is imbued with nostalgia as it reminds us of the chillwave era thanks to its hypnagogic pop attributes.
Scasca is a Belgrade-based artist creating carefully sequenced, UK-influenced downtempo. The UK influence shines through the two-step rhythms, although the soft percussive hits beautifully complement the airy charm of the track. I must say these eerie yet comforting vocals breathe life into the track, and their hushed presence also makes this feel like such a lullaby.
