Long Beach MC Seafood Sam has been captivating audiences and releasing music since 2018 with his laid-back yet elegant aesthetic. One of the standout tracks on the latest project is the dreamy "FUBU GENES". Sam's deep voice and commanding vocal presence act as a marvelous contrast to the glossy, melodic synth works that are adorned across the mix. Despite the bright instrumental, lyrically, we're acquainted with quite a conscious and somber side of Sam thanks to his thought-provoking songwriting. He is currently on an impressive album run, and it makes me so excited to see how he'll evolve as an artist.
