Lately, I've been heavily listening to UK garage, and because of that, I am always hyped to find out new music and artists that are bringing the finest tunes in that genre, and guess what? The new track "Elegy" by Shifting Path is my new fav track that I can't stop listening to. At this point, I've most probably listened to it around 200 times.
Inspired by the urban atmosphere of nighttime in London, the track Elegy combines elements of different genres into an exploration of a dark, yet uplifting soundscape. Including hard groovy drums in a UK garage style, ambient drones and textures, and a deep, rich reese bass, the track captures the listener through its melancholic but hopeful atmosphere.
