Lately, I've been feeling a strong sense of nostalgia for the lofi house era, and Sideluv's lush new release, "You Forever," has pushed me further into that rabbit hole!
Even though the genre isn't as popular, Sideluv is one of the artists I can happily say is still pushing the envelope in the lofi house space right now. The hazy synths floating in the backdrop have this slightly rough texture to them, and it gives these pads an extra layer of character. This, paired with the incredibly emotive vocals, pulls the listener deeper into its moody, reflective soundscape. Melodically Sideluv has created a vibe that saunters between hopeful and melancholic, while the groovy drums continuously offer energy to the release.
