May 29th, 2018 - Anna and I got an email that started with, "My name is Lu from Cape Town, and I came across your website through the feature you did on Yellowhouse, the Cape Town-based artist. Before I could even scroll to the bottom of your page, there were many artists I could recognize, and the ones that I clicked on, I liked," and eventually ended up with "...I'd be interested in writing for Stereofox."
The rest is history, and today we mark another milestone in Lu's journey with us. A real full-circle moment, because today he makes his debut as an artist on the label. Over the years I've known him, he has proven to be one of the nicest, most curious, and hard-working young people I've met, and it was a pleasure and honour ot meet him in person and have him as an integral part of the team. Most of you know him as a writer, but he is so much more than that, and today I am glad that we get to experience some of his art.
Accompanied by the amazing Canadian electronic producer, MKSTN, who we've spotlighted before, the dream team channels their synergy into the creation of a dreamy yet colourful fusion of afro and melodic house, with a splash of introspective melancholia.
