Sky Civilian has introduced us to a sound that surprisingly borrows from downtempo and hyper pop for her glossy release "Some Kind of Love".

This gem is the second track off her six-track offering, If I Could Swim I'd Bring You the Ocean via Atomnation. Atmospheric textures and field recordings create lush soundscapes for the listener to bask in, and Sky Civilian heightens the emotions when her voice enters the mix. By the time we reach the climax, the swells of the bass bring the track to life along with the thick pads decorating the backdrop.
