Today's Throwback Thursday song is slightly out of the ordinary. It is actually a new song from a well-known artist who kept quiet for a long time...until now.
Did you grow up listening to Underoath? If the answer is yes you must have been disappointed when they disbanded. At the time that happened I remember Aaron Gillespie was already successfully running his side project The Almost.
Now, the time is ripe for Spencer Chamberlain to reveal his new band Sleepwave. I warn you, do not expect anything remotely familiar to the sound of Underoath. It is a new band, new members and they, like any other band are working on their own unique sound. This being said, the intro of "Rock And Roll Is Dead And So Am I" in particular resembles the the style of The Almost. Anyway, even out of curiosity, you should check out Spencer's new project.
