UK songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer Sophie Hawes, Slowe, presents her new double single "Sundown (feat. Alamay) / Too Much to Ask”, introducing her forthcoming second album, In Moments.

It's worth noting that Slowe is self-taught, and her debut album, Where The Mind Wanders, was entirely self-produced. She describes her sound as sitting "somewhere between timeless warmth and late-night introspection; music for the headphones, for long drives, and for moments of stillness".

Slowe and Alamay share a beautiful duet in "Sundown", with a warm sense of true support and friendship between them. The vocals were captivating from the very start, and I have a feeling I'll be singing the chorus around the house for the rest of the day.

The track also carries a hopeful and uplifting message about holding on even during darker times and letting time do its healing. With spring just beginning and the sun shining more often, it feels especially fitting.

"Sundown" is a perfect new addition to our Lush Vibes playlist, and we'll definitely be looking out for the full album. Keep it up, Slowe!
