On and On

I was so looking forward to the debut release of Some Stranger, that I was refreshing sites all day yesterday, until the record was up for download. Right after that, I was with my headphones on listening to the first track - "On and On", I was so impressed with it that I couldn't go to the next one, it is that good! Eventually I heard the whole EP and can easily say that it blew me away. I love Tym's voice so much, I loved it in Daytrader and now in Some Stranger.

The sound of Some Stranger is not easy to describe, they've got punk, they've got soul! The energy is not that different from Daytrader but I think that musically it is more diverse and even...atmospheric at times.

Having played the self titled EP more than 15 times now, I cannot wait for these guys to come up with a full length. The record is getting its physical press via Robotic Empire Records, so go and buy that vinyl, I know I will.
