It’s been a while since Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Sorcha Richardson shared any new music, but she's back today with her elegant new single “Petrol Station”.

Moving away from her earlier folk releases to a more electronic sound, Richardson’s close relationships in Brooklyn’s electronic scene have swayed the production in her art towards an electronic domain.

Her collaborative project CON VOS  set the tone for her new sound, drawing acclaim from the likes of Nylon, Pigeons & Planes and Indie Shuffle but it’s an understated enchantment that sets her apart with this record, bringing to mind the likes of Lapsley,  James Vincent McMorrow and Villagers.

Listen as her sweet sounding vocals soar above the spacious electronic soundscape…
