Rival Consoles' rendition of "In Mindibu" feels like you're submerged in a large void of synths that pull you in all sorts of directions.

Honestly, this doesn't come as a surprise though. Everything Rival Consoles touches has quite an immersive quality to it. Something I also picked up is that Rival's drums, along with his percussive arrangements occupy more of a presence than usual - they knock like overzealous cops at your front door. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but this must be one of my favorite releases from Rival.
