sugi.wa has made quite a name for himself as a prolific chillhop and lofi hip hop producer, however on "Way I Love You" he shifts into the realm of indie and r&b in quite an experimental manner.
The London-based producer has been putting out music since 2018 as sugi.wa and has released with a variety of notable labels within the chillhop sphere. This year, he gears up for the release of his new album In the Clouds, and a standout single has been the beautifully wonky "Way I Love You". The production is raw, the drums are bouncy, and the airy synths floating across the mix gives the track an ethereal charm that perfectly complements sugi.wa’s laid-back vocal delivery.
