Something I truly adored about "Common Ground" is the cohesive progression that unfolds with each passing second.

The track begins in a very relaxed manner by virtue of the lofty vocals and smooth instrumentation, although down the line we're introduced with sections that are brimming with musical opulence - particularly from the thunderous yet elegant drum fills and the titillating arrangement of the keys. On "Common Ground", Swell's have accurately captured the sound of a potential Steve Lacy and BADBADNOTGOOD collaboration.
