One of the artists that slipped onto my radar in 2022 is electronic producer SWIM, and with frequent exposure to his music, he actually became among my favorite artists this year.
In the last quarter of 2022, he released his EP 11:11 with "Blur" being the crown jewel of the project. This *sounds* as if it's a dance-floor banger but *feels* as if it's a solitary experience to immerse yourself in. The combination of melancholy paired with the hard-hitting drums on "Blur" has the potential to make one shed tears on the dance floor. If you enjoyed this, 11:11 is something you'd definitely be fond of.
