Die For This

It's been a while since we've received a solo track from Syd, and the release of "Die For This" represents the end of a 2 year hiatus.

In many ways, Syd is like a creative Swiss army knife as she is a singer, songwriter, band leader, musical director/arranger, video director and editor, and entrepreneur. Hopefully, the release of "Die For This" culminates in an EP or an album, giving fans a deeper glimpse into her multifaceted world lately. I loved the transitions through the various rhythms as her soothing vocals float across the mix. Melodically, the track is fleshed out by woozy synths and glittery guitar arrangements that emphasizes the track's dreamlike atmosphere while adding a touch of emotional depth.
