"Mixtape 2003" is the new sound of The Academic, an incoming Irish band with pop rock sonorities.

Following up "Different", their previous catchy track, "Mixtape 2003" shows us the direction that the teenagers from Mullingar are taking. Probably inspired by the pop rock sounds of the years 2000, this track satisfies our nostalgia from this time by its catchy vibes and energetic chorus.

Going back in time with modernity, this band definitely stands out as a new pop rock reference.
