One could easily say that The Gaslight Anthem took over the world...and not by surprise. If you know rock'n'roll than you know The Gaslight Anthem. Starting in 2006 as mainly punk rock influenced band rocking that same scene, they are now performing on huge festivals all over the world. TGA went through it all, from sticking with indie label for their first three records to signing with a major one and releasing last year's masterpiece. Many expected them to follow the footsteps of other bands and lose their "cool" after the "selling out". Well Brian Fallon and co proved them wrong as Handwritten (released on Mercury Records in 2012) is their best work to date. "45" is the opening track from that record and the guitar work from Alex Rosamilia here is just spectacular. This band can only get better and I am so eager to see what the future holds for them.
