There is nothing I enjoy more on Sundays then listening to some slow music and reflecting on the past week. Folk tends to be the soundtrack on these kinds of days. Today has been more of a Milk Carton Kids day, a group which combines the sounds of Fleet Foxes and Iron & Wine beautifully. The best example of this is their opening track, "Hope Of A Lifetime."

"Hope" has a sound that wouldn't be out of place on a Fleet Foxes album. The vocals? A pleasant combination between the previously mentioned bands. I just can't get enough of their unique style.

Every band attempts to make something that will remain timeless. The Milk Carton Kids have exceeded any and all expectations.
