With the help of James Waterman, Thoma's "Moving Through" from their new album Leaving Cycles is a fascinating mixture of genres that'll color your world.

The duo has been teasing the release of this project since March, and there is good reason too, given their creative breadth on here and the variety we're welcome to. "Moving Through" progresses like a sonic voyage, taking you through compelling organic textures knitted between luminous synth works. The bass is what really stood out to me throughout this experience. It cuts through the mix, holds the groove with the vibrant percussion, and it bends in fascinating ways, especially towards the second half. I can't neglect to mention the eerie vocals floating across the mix that offer a soulful charm to an otherwise otherworldly and cinematic track.

I'd highly suggest diving into the album if your attention is captured. Stream here.
