The young British multi-instrumentalist/singer Tom Misch has been releasing solid tunes nearly every month for the past...year or so, which is pretty vivid from his tag here on Stereofox.
While most of them were stand-alone tunes or remixes or collabs, now it's time for him to continue the legacy of his first record AKA his new record Beat Tape 2 will be out August 28th (my sister's bday!). The album will be released via his label Beyond The Groove.
Tom's music is pretty peculiar. It's constantly changing and incorporating various genres. From blues and jazz to ambient to bossa nova, the guy is truly something interesting on nowadays' scene.
The first single off Beat Tape 2 featured Sam Wills and it's rather calm, laid back even slightly r&b-ish relaxation.
