South Block

I was immediately struck by nostalgia when "South Block" opened up with the classical Dave Chappelle skit, and it was also an amazing way to welcome us into Stance's story.

The instrumental is pleasantly skeletal which gives the US rapper enough room to flesh out the track with his witty lyricism and compelling flows. On "South Block" Trevon spills his heart out and shares the trial and tribulations he endured for his dreams, peppered in with a lil braggadocio bars yet delivered in an elegant manner.
