Christmas music is often very cheesy and a very easy way for lame artist to grab some easy cash from gullible fans by rehashing seasonal standards.

When done right Christmas songs should be fun-filled as classics by Doris Day, as sexy as Ertha Kitt or totally experimental and out there as Vein Melter's take on the "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from the Nutcracker Suite, by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

The duo consisting of Jesse Fischer and Sly5thAve take the song apart and apply a subtly constructed Hip-Hop/Trap beat surrounded by some wonderful tenor saxophone, dainty glockenspiel chimes, and drum programming.

Happy holidays!
