Jag Kommer

Veronica Maggio's "Jag Kommer" (I'm Coming) is a single from her third album that was released in 2011. It was a big hit in Sweden, officially there were more than 300 000 copies sold and it reached number one in the charts. I remember back in 2011 I was blissfully jumping around at KB (a night club in Malmö, Sweden) under the sounds of "Jag Kommer" totally unaware of who the performer's name was. Regardless of my terrible Swedish back then, I'd argue it still pretty bad nowadays as well, it was surprisingly easy to shout out the catchy chorus part when I was drunk : "Jag kommer, jag kommer, jag är nästan där" ( I'm coming, I'm coming, I am almost there). Yes, you got it right, the lyrics are a bit cheesy full of sexual references but then again this is what goes well with Friday's night  shots, beers and screwdrivers.

The original song is pure pop with light instrumental whether this has a bit of 80's plus some modern day electronic beats in it. Feel free to tell me in the comment section below which version you like better. Perhaps you know another sweet remix or cover.
