I am clueless about the pronunciation of Waxahatchee but this does not stop me from enjoying their music. In fact Waxahatchee is Katie Crutchfield,  whose latest album Ivy Trip will be released April the 6th.

I was almost sure that some of my Stereofox buddies had already featured this artist but I got lucky. Two of them are fans but I have the privilege of writing the first post about Waxahatchee. "Under a Rock" takes you back in style with 90's indie rock guitar and drums with the vocals being my favorite part.

p.s. After my first encounter with Katie I had to search for more of her songs and videos. Here is a video from few  years ago.
