Whereisalex is one of my personal OGs when it comes to bass-driven futuristic music. The golden 2013-2016 SoundCloud era was a thriving place for so many talented producers and I was beyond excited to see that he added his flare to Kilamanzego's lush bass "Anxiety". Kay is one hell of a talent and we had the honor of releasing with her a few weeks ago on our label!
The Philadelphia-based created "Anxiety" back in 2020 in order to express and channel all the emotions and feelings caused by the Global pandemic. Whereisalex definitely tones things down and his version almost feels like an underwater take on the original. Liquid, fluid and extremely spacious. Still... anxiety.
